There are many error codes, sadly with no official documentation.

The 0x00000097 appears to be a connection error. This can happen if

• the connection actually drops.
• you have more than one connection, for example WiFi and Wire at the same time.

To fix this, simply disconnect your slower connections. That is usually WiFi/WLan first, than VPN second.
