While updating my DNS debugger at dynamic.estada.ch I noticed that Google did not resolve some of my IPv6 records correctly, google would just zero out the bytes in the network portion apart from fe80::/64 which is part of the fe80::/10 Link-Local Range from RFC 4291:
Update: It looks like they fixed it this week.

I used the DNS Checker Tool to get a better idea of how many resolvers would see my service and spotted a couple of other hosts that did exactly the same:
- Mexico, Universidad Latino America
- Brazil, Claro S.A.
- Bangladesh, Md Masud Rana Roni
Looking at the whois information we can see, all of their IPs belong to google.

Speculation on why
Why would google suppress parts of the network information on a "must not be routed" IP range?
One guess would be that they use it internally for separate projects and/or customers.
